The Indian Cricket Team has been in pretty good form recently. Their recent triumphs against Australia and South Africa have made India a powerful unit. The Men in Blue would be hoping that the team continues their purple patch in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
Rohit Sharma, the skipper would be aware of the fact that the team should not get complacent. In a short tournament, a couple of losses can end the tournament. The billion people would be hoping that the team doesn’t perform produce a similar performance to T20 2021.
Rohit Sharma was seen interacting with media ahead of their match against Pakistan.” Every time you come for a World Cup it is a great feeling. We had a great camp (training) in Perth. We won two series at home recently but Australia will be a different challenge. Conditions will be challenging but there is a reason why we came here early.” said Rohit.
“It is a big game to start with but we are going to keep relaxed and focus on what we need to do as individuals. That is going to be the key for us,” he added.
India Cricket Team is once again going to lock horns against Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. India had decent outings against Pakistan in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022. There is always drama when India and Pakistan clash with each other as this time both the teams are evenly matched.
Pakistan as usual would be dependent on Babar & Rizwan. But they find match-winners on the given day due to which they are a dangerous unit. It would be interesting to see how both teams fare in Australian pitches which are quite different and most importantly, the teams would be tested in long boundaries.
