Which players will come in IPL 2023 auction? The wait is about to end, as the Indian Premier League – IPL 2023 auction ceremony is just around the corner. Ipl auction 2023 405 players list is set to come under the hammer in Kochi on December 23, 2022.

Ten teams shortlisted 369 players from the initial list of 991 players. Later, thirty-six more players were requested by groups, which were added to the final list, and now a list of a total of 405 players will be presented at the IPL 2023 Auction this Friday.

Of those 405 players, 273 are local (Indian), 132 are from other countries, including four players from associate nations. Moreover, out of 405 listed players, the total capped players are 119, the uncapped players are 282 and 4 are from the associate countries.

All those 405 players will be hoping to get their name called on that auction ceremony where a maximum of 87 slots is now vacant, with 30 out of those being slotted for foreign players.

If we look at the base price this year, two crore Indian rupees is the highest reserve price, with 19 foreign players choosing to be slotted in that highest bracket. In the auction list, 11 players with a base price of 1.5 crore Indian rupees. It’s worth mentioning that there are only two Indian cricketers in the list of 20 cricketers with a base price of 1 crore Indian rupee (Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal).

It’s worth mentioning that right-arm off-spinner from Afghanistan, Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar, is the youngest cricketer to be shortlisted for the IPL 2023 auction.

While the oldest player in the auction is Amit Mishra. 40 year old is the only bowler to pick up three IPL hat-tricks for three different teams; Delhi Daredevils (2008), Deccan Chargers (2011) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (2013).
