Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan will pull out of Asia Cup If hosting rights got snatched – PCB Cheif Ramiz Raja Announced: There has been a lot of speculation as to what will be the fate of the Indian-Pakistan match that will be held in 2023. There have been fierce remarks by the Pakistan Cricket Board chief Ramiz raja, and he has threatened that Pakistan will explore other options if their hosting rights are snatched.
Moreover, they have been clear cut about the issue that if there is a possible venue change for the India and Pakistan match, Pakistan will have no option left but to pull out of the Asia cup that will be held next year. The ongoing tussle between Pakistan and India for the 2023 world cup will continue in the coming weeks.
During the test match between Pakistan and England, Ramiz the Pakistan cricket board said that it wasn’t as if they don’t have the right to host and are asking for it. Pakistan has rightfully earned the rights, and if those rights are taken away, Pakistan will be the first team to pull out of the Asia Cup.
However, that wasn’t enough, the Pakistan Cricket Board chief further added that if such tense situations arise, they will also speculate and most probably decide on canceling its relationship with the Asian Cricket Club. It is because Jay shah, who is the president of the Asian Cricket club suggested that the cricket match between the true rivals can be held on a neutral ground.
Moreover, Ramiz said that if the Indian Cricket team comes for the Asia Cup in 2023 they will also go for the World Cup that will be held in India. He added, that most of the fans wouldn’t want to see a world cup if Pakistan pulls out of the world cup too. He said that Pakistan is all secure and has hosted series with some tough teams around the world and has also managed to beat the most business-creating cricket team and created their place in the finals too.
However, after the statement to the Asian Cricket club and the international cricket club by Pakistan, the Union minister said that BCCI will hold the World Cup with all teams participating. Moreover, the sports minister also added and said that India won’t respond to such threats and will go on with things decided long before.
After the statements from the Union minister and the sports minister, the BCCI president also came into action. Roger Binny the BCCI president clearly said that it was not up to them to give the Indian cricket team a green signal to go for the Asia cup held in Pakistan. The decision depended on the Indian Government, and they will have to take clearance from them and they inform the players about the situation.
After the Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma was asked about the current situation, he replied that his only focus now is the 2023 World Cup and he would go as things are planned and would wait on instructions from above in terms of the Asia Cup match in Pakistan.
In addition to the above, this is the first time India is hosting the world cup all by itself. Before they hosted in collaboration with other countries. India co-hosted the 1987 Worldcup with Pakistan and later on collaborated with Pakistan and Srilanka to hold the world cup in 1996.
Furthermore, they got another chance to host it in 2011 along with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The year 2011 was quite spectacular for the Indian cricket team as they won the Worldcup. As relations between the two teams remain strained, we can wait to see the fate of the match between the two teams.
