BAN vs IND: Indian Bowlers Save the Test Match – The ongoing test match between the Bangladeshi cricket team as well as the Indian cricket team is somewhat interesting because it seems as if both teams are equally matched. Both of the teams are trying their level best to reach the world test championship.
Both teams will have to will all of the test matches to qualify for the world test championship, as a result, both teams are trying their best to do so. After the Indian cricket team won the toss, they opted to bat, however, it would have been better to bowl first considering the condition of the pitch and the weather.
However, since the Indian cricket team elected to bat, they did play an innings that wasn’t entertaining for the Indian fans in the stadium.
Once again, the top order of the Indian cricket team stumbled and was no match for the Pacers and the spin Bowlers of the Bangladeshi cricket team. One specific spin bowler, Taijul Islam remained the eye of the game as all eyes were on him and he was trouble for the Indian batsmen.
Taijul Islam came to bowl in the initial moments of the game and it was a truly splendid decision by the captain. Tall Islam came with a mission and that was to take out the Key batsmen from the Indian cricket team and that mission was fulfilled by him.
It is because he was the one who dismissed the former captain of the Indian cricket team and the star player Virat Kholi.
In addition to the above, Taijul Islam went forward to cause more destruction in the middle order of the Indian Batsmen. The only batsmen that stood against him were Rishabh Pant and Pujara.
Rishabh Pant and Pujara played an excellent inning and had a strong and unbreakable partnership against the Bangladeshi bowlers. They helped India by giving a good lead, but after making numerous amounts of runs, they too were dismissed by the Bangladeshi tigers.
The next phase of defense came from the three players. Those three players were Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, and Muhammad Siraj. These players of the Indian Cricket team not only bowled well but also scored a considerable amount of runs for the team.
Pujara scored 90 runs, and other the other hand, the key batsman of the Indian cricket team Iyer also scored 86 runs. Surprisingly, Ashwin also scored a half-century with 58 runs, with 40 runs coming from Kuldeep Yadav. These runs helped India in making a total of 404 runs in their first innings.
In response to the above innings played by the Indian cricket team, the opposing team which was Bangladesh scored only 133 runs with a loss of eight wickets. Since the pitch was ideal for spinners, it was an advantage for Ashwin as he took 4 wickets of a key player from the Bangladeshi cricket team.
In addition to the previous stats, Ashwin only conceived 33 runs. Siraj, the Indian pacer, was the one who gave India the first wicket when he managed to take out an outside edge from Najmul Hussain. After the fall of these wickets, the Bangladeshi cricket team stood up and scored seven fours to give a massive boost of 34 runs to the team.
However, that didn’t last long because once the Indian spinners came, they took quick wickets and dismissed multiple Bangladeshi batsmen. After the fall of eight wickets, Mehdy and Ebadot remained and kept on playing. Bangladeshi bowlers will now have to try their level best to bowl out the Indian batsmen to keep themselves in the game.
