IND vs BAN ODI Series Fierce Defense from Zakir Hussain: After the humiliating defeat of Bangladeshi in the one-day international series, the Indian cricket team has geared up for the test series with the Bangladesh cricket team. They now aim to win the test series as they cannot bear any loss.
In the world test championship that is taking place as we speak, multiple teams such as Pakistan and West Indies have been ruled out because they have come very low in the points table. Teams such as Australia and England are at the top of the points table with the Indian Cricket Team in the Middle.
It is a big challenge for India because the statistics and most experts of the game say that India will have to play all its upcoming test matches to qualify for the world test championship. So, they are trying their level best to ensure all the matches are won.
The current test match between India and Bangladesh was quite uncertain as it was unclear which team might win. It is because both teams were equally matched in bowling as well as batting. However, at some points in the game, the Indian players would take quick wickets or the batsmen would score runs and so they would move ahead.
However, at some points in the game, the Bangladeshi bowlers would strike and it would lead to a fall of wickets on the Indian side. But when we look at the game now, it is evident that India might win. However, the Indian cricket team did face severe opposition from the Bangladeshi batsmen.
In the Bangladeshi cricket team, some players were playing their very first test match and they also performed exceptionally well.
The Bangladeshi batsman Zakir Hassan had an excellent start to his test career as he showed extreme resistance to the Indian bowlers. Although the Indian cricket team used spin bowlers as well as fast bowlers, they could take the wicket of Zakir Hassan.
He stood on the ground for a very long time and also scored a 100 run in his first-ever test match. Now that’s how you should start your test career. The Indian players as well as the Bangladeshi team members praised him for his exceptional performance. However, a time came when Zakir Hassan couldn’t withstand the Indian bowlers.
He was also taken out. Ashwin was the one who took the wicket of Zakir Hassan. The bowl soul well but an inside edge was given and the ball landed directly into the hands of Virat Kholi.
Shakil al Hassan also played well and provided some entertainment in the ending moments of the game. The sun was about to set. Bangladesh needed to score 241 runs to win the test match, but they had a problem. They were six out and only had four wickets in hand.
In addition to the previous sentence, Bangladesh had a weak bottom order, so they were in trouble. On the other hand, India required only four wickets to win the game. If the day had set, it would have been a draw.
Shakib al Hassan did try his best as he scored 40 runs and was the last man standing from the Bangladeshi side.
The evening session began with a fall of three wickets for Bangladesh, but later on, as time passed, the wickets kept on falling and there were no partnerships. What Bangladesh needed was a strong partnership, but they could not get it.
Short partnerships, incorrect shots, and excellent bowling from the Indian side are what lead to the destruction of Bangladesh in this test match against India.
