Aakash Chopra on Jasprit Bumrah Injury: Jasprit Bumrah has been injured in various matches before World cup tournaments. The Indian commentator, as well as a legend batsman Akash Chopra, is showing his concern about Bumrah’s fitness. Akash Chopra said it’s time for the team India to prepare for a life without Jasprit Bumrah.

Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness has become a question mark for India’s team as Bumrah is getting injuries continuously in various matches before the World Cup and Asia Cup tournaments. Rohit Sharma said in his interview that the group had been scheduled in a mix so that some players may need rest.

Jasprit Bumrah has been included in those players who need rest. Senior Cricketer Akash Chopra worries about Bumrah’s Cricket career because he has not participated in any game since September. Bumrah has been excluded from the ODI series played against Srilanka due to fitness issues.

Jasprit Bumrah was one of those players shortlisted for the series against Srilanka. But before the first ODI against Srilanka, The Cricket Board of India announced that Bumrah had been eliminated from the Squad as he was not physically fit to be in action.

Akash said that he has performed in only one match in which he got injuries. He returns to cricket and again stops playing due to a fitness problem.

The Cricket board included Bumrah’s name in the list announced for the ODI series against Srilanka. But as the ODI series was held in Guwahati, we didn’t see him in action. The Board of Indian Cricket has excluded his name from the list. Jasprit Bumrah got injuries several

times on the field. So, he was not allowed to play for a long time. So the Cricket Board of India ruled Bumrah Out from the list and announced that he needed to get some rest and recover from his injuries.

Akash expressed his feeling about Bumrah, saying this is not good for Bumrah’s career as India has to participate in the World cup tournament, and this will be the second World cup in which Bumrah will not play. But he will be back after getting fit for the match.

Bumrah is an excellent and brilliant cricketer for the Indian team. No one can replace Bumrah’s performance, but men in blue have Mohammad Siraj in action. Siraj has improved his skills and gained experience in the cricket field over all these years.

But still, Akash Chopra is very confident about team India as many Indian players like Siraj and Umran Malik has been improved and are pretty good in action. Mohammad Shami has also performed well in the ODI series.

Akash added that he had not concealed his hopes with Bumrah that the team would gain victory only because of Jasprit Bumrah and what we would do if Bumrah were not in action. He feels that India can also be at the top without Bumrah, but if Jasprit Bumrah is in an active state, India will have a chance to win. But it’s all good, and he has been injured several times, so it’s time for the team India to prepare for a life without Jasprit Bumrah.

Moreover, Chopra said that Team India would depend on Mohammad Siraj, Mohammad Shami, Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh in the series against Srilanka.
