India vs Sri Lanka: Three Sri Lanka Cricketers That are Dangerous for the India Cricket Team

India vs Sri Lanka: The ongoing series between the Indian team and the Sri Lanka Team has provided players on both teams a chance to prove themselves and some of them have proven that they deserve a place in the playing 11. In addition to this, the news isn’t great for the Indian cricket team because this time there is a very high chance that their top players will not be playing.

When we take a look at the previous cricket matches between the Indian cricket team and the Sri Lanka cricket team, we see that the management has given a chance to the older players a to play in the match. It is a great step because the older the player, the more he has the experience playing and he knows how to perform according to the game.

At the Indian side, Shikhar Dhawan has been given a chance to play in some of the previous matches and he has shown considerable performance but is difficult to secure his place in the playing eleven. When we take a look at the statistics, Shikar Dhawan has contributed a lot to the Indian cricket team and is considered a match-winner.

Moreover, he has been playing for the Indian cricket team for around 7 years now. Another senior player such as Rishabh Pant had greater chances to continue playing for the team, but it seems that he will no longer be selected. Rishabh Pant had an unfortunate accident back in India where his car collided with the barriers.

Although he is thankfully alive and out of danger, he has received multiple complications in his body including his right wrist and back. Due to such injuries, it is now impossible for him to play. Rishabh pant has also been playing with the Indian cricket team for quite some time now and he has performed whenever the team needed a star performance to win the game.

So, things aren’t going to plan up till now and there has been an increment in worries for the Indian team as they now face a challenge from the three phenomenal Sri Lanka Players.

In addition to the above facts, let us now analyze and look at the players from the Sri Lanka cricket team that can prove to be a threat to the Indian cricket team. The first player that can be a source of worry for the Indian cricket team is Charith Asalanka. Charith Asalanka is one of the best cricket batsmen the Sri Lanka Cricket team has ever produced.

He is packed with all the skills and experience along with immense knowledge of the game to be disastrous to any opposing team. In addition to the previous fact, Charith Asalanka can be compared to Surya Kumar Yadav because he is equally energetic and can play the ball in almost every direction.

However, some people might say that he didnt perform in the year 2022, and thats true. His game has seen somewhat of a downfall and it has affected his position on the ICC batsmen ranking. As for Charith Asalanka, he has slid a few places in the ICC ranking table, but it isn’t a matter of worry for him because he has improved alot in playing the spin ball and it can damage the Indian spinners.

The other two players are the pace bowlers of the Sri Lanka Team named Dasun Shanaka and Tauranga. Both these players have taken multiple wickets in the game and of very experienced batsmen. These players can also damage the Indian batting lineup as they have both the pace and the skill to cause immense damage.
