The Titans were without their regular skipper, Kane Williamson, who had to sit out due to injury. However, Sudharsan filled the gap left by him admirably, batting with maturity beyond his years.
His partnership with Vijay was also noteworthy, as the two had strung together two fifty-run stands in four innings heading into the game. Sudharsan’s unbeaten knock helped him win the Man of the Match award.
It is clear that the capitals missed the injured Rishabh Pant. Pant is an incredibly talented wicketkeeper-batsman who has been a key player for the Capitals in recent seasons.

Pants aggressive batting style and ability to score runs quickly in the middle overs were sorely missed, and his absence also had an impact on the team’s overall confidence and morale.
