Mitchell Starc made history when he was sold to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for a record INR 24.75 crore, while his partner Pat Cummins was right behind him with an offer of INR 20.40 crore from the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Simultaneously, 35 uncapped players found buyers at the auction, with 9 of them breaking the bank with deals worth crores. Sameer Rizvi of Uttar Pradesh has purchased for INR 8.4 crore, making him the most expensive uncapped player in IPL 2024.
