IPL 2023 Auction: 273 Indian and 132 Overseas (4 from associate nations) will be looking to see whether they’re lucky enough to be picked in World’s best cricket league.
Out of those 405 players, capped players are 119, while 282 are uncapped (4 from associate nations).
It’s worth mentioning that the initial list comprised 991 players (714 Indian and 277 overseas players), while 185 were capped, 786 were uncapped, and 20 players were from Associate Nations. Out of 991 players, 62 registered from Sri Lanka while.
46 players from Afghanistan, about 40 players from the West Indies, 30 players from Bangladesh, 26 from South Africa, 16 from Australia, 11 from Zimbabwe, and six from New Zealand.
An initial list was then shortlisted into 369, and after adding 35 players to make the final list of 405 players, which will be fighting to get picked at the TATA IPL 2023 Auction.
IPL 2023 Auction – 405 Players in Line for 87 Available Spots:
A total of 87 slots remain to fill out of 405 available players, with up to 30 places for overseas players). 19 out of 30 overseas players will be choosing to be slotted in the highest bracket, with INR 2 crore as the highest reserve price while 11 players in the auction list with a base price of INR 1.5 crore.
After that, there are 20 players on the list with a base price of INR 1 crore, with Mayank Agarwal and Manish Pandey among them.
Lastly, IPL 2023 is expected to kick off by the end of March 2023. But for now, IPL Governing Council is deciding where to arrange the IPL 2023 Auction, in Istanbul or Bengaluru.
