IPL Auction 2023
With the rise of league cricket, IPL has become the biggest cricketing event in the world. So far, 15 editions of the tournament have been held. This money is distributed among the players through the player auction system. Different players go under the hammer as teams select their players for the next season.
The IPL auction is the main reason behind such large sums of money paid out to different players. IPL auction serves as a huge attraction for the players worldwide, as they want to play in the IPL and earn handsomely.
Ahead of IPL 2023, teams had retained their key players while releasing others. As a result, a mini auction is scheduled to finalize the squads for IPL 2023.
Date and Time:
The IPL Auction for the 2023 season of the IPL is scheduled to take place on 23rd December, 2023. The auction will start at 14:30 IST, 09:00 GMT.
