It is understood that Shaheen Shah Afridi is yet to recover from the knee injury that he sustained in the ICC World T20 2022’s final. His rehabilitation work is in progress and once he recovers from the injury, he will be included in the Pakistan line-up.

Shaheen Shah Afridi and Fakhar Zaman are expected to be totally fit for the Pakistan Super League the following year. Both players play for Lahore Qalandar in the Pakistan Super League. Only Zahid Mehmood has been dropped from Pakistan’s most recent ODI assignment, a three-match series in the Netherlands back in August.
