DURBAN SUPER GIANTS: SA20 Team Preview – New T20 League in South Africa:
The new South African T20 League has started, with six teams in the competition. These teams include Joburg Super Kings, Pretoria Capitals, MI Cape Town, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Durban Super Giants, and Paarl Royals.
The South Africa 20 (SA 20) tournament is scheduled to run between 10th January, 2023 and February 11th 2023. All six teams will compete in a round-robin format.

DURBAN SUPER GIANTS Squad 2023:
It is not often that you talk about the team and the two most talked about players in the team are keepers. Durban S.G. have the two best keepers from South Africa. Quinton de Kock is the nominated captain of the franchise. In addition to the captaincy, de Kock is also expected to take the wicketkeeping gloves for the Durban S.G. team.
Quinny de Kock also plays for the same team, Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.
The explosive opener will be supported by Kyle Mayers of West Indies. The two explosive openers are expected to pair up at the top of the order. The squad also includes another explosive hard hitter from West Indies, Johnson Charles.
Henrich Klassen is another key member of the team. His role in the side will be crucial as he must hold the side together in the middle order.
Akila Dhananjaya and Jason Holder are the two overseas all rounders in the squad. Holder also plays for Super Giants in IPL. Wiaan Mulder and Dwayne Pretorius are the other allrounders in the side.
Keshav Maharaj and Simon Harmer will handle the spin-bowling for Durban side. The talented all-rounders in the side add to the versatility of the squad.

All six teams in the SA 20 are owned by IPL franchises. That’s the reason why these South Africa based franchises have the same parent names as the IPL franchises.
