India Cricket Team Analysis Against Sri Lanka: The team selection for the Indian T20 and the fifty-over format brought great shocks to Indian cricket fans all over the world. Fans had to witness several unexpected inclusions in both teams and many big names were not a part of the teams.
An announcement was given by the board of control for cricket in India regarding the selection of players for the t20 squad and the ODI squad ahead of the team’s home clash against rivals Sri Lanka. Rishabh Pant however has been asked to sit out for the series in both formats. Crucial all-rounder Hardik Pandeya has been named as the new captain of the renewed T20 squad where he wished to lead the team and many young players that it comprises to victory.
The Indian T20 squad is to see many new faces including Mukesh Kumar and Shivam Mavi, who have been given a call-up to represent the team against Sri Lanka.

In addition to that, the exclusion of veteran players from the series means that the Indian cricket board is directing its focus on building a team for the 2024 world cup. It is mainly for the ODI squad however the same will be done keeping in mind the t20 squad.
