Sarfraz khan made 982 runs at a strike rate of 122.75. Regardless of his massive scores in Ranji Trophy, he recorded four hundred in the previous season.

Sarfaraz Khan said that when BCCI announced the squad list and did not include his name. This announcement made me upset for a long day. He said that this decision made him cry and feel very helpless when driving from Guwahati to Delhi.

Sarfraz said that although he was disappointed with the decision, the selection team may have some ideas and plans regarding the tournament. Hence, they shortlisted the players according to their terms.

Sarfaraz Khan confessed that he has no power to make a decision, he was upset and disappointed, but he would not let him think about this matter, as too much thinking may cause stressful conditions for him that are not good for his health as well.

He also denied the decision regarding his fitness. Sarfraz said he has no fitness problem as he has cleared all fitness tests, including the yo-yo test, in the past cricket years.

Moreover, Sarfraz pointed out that every person in the world has a unique and different body shape and structure, and no one can change this natural body.

Cricket commentary expert Harsha Bhogle said that Sarfraz would not accept the disqualification easily, and this decision disheartened him.

The Captain of the Mumbai team, Ajinkya Rahane’, can understand Sarfraz’s reaction and disappointing behavior. Still, his advice to Sarfraz is to focus more on the matches he is playing today. Don’t think too much about the upcoming matches, as the decision power is not his hand.

 Rahane’ said that he had faced this ignorance in international Cricket and that his sympathies were with Sarfraz. Still, Khan should focus on improving today’s performance instead of thinking of the matches that are not in his hand.
