Women’s Match Squads: 10 foreign players from 7 nations have been named to women’s match squads. Tickets for the women’s matches on March 8, 10, and 11 in Rawalpindi are expected to sell well.
The captains’ photo shoot and pre-series press conferences will take held at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Monday, February 4 at 5:15 p.m.
The match will begin at 2:00 p.m. and be broadcast live on the PCB and PSL YouTube Channels. PCB will supply action photos and match reports.

PCB named the two women’s teams that will play today’s three Women’s League exhibition games. On March 8, 10, and 11, Rawalpindi hosts HBL PSL 8 matches. Women’s cricket starts at 2 and men’s at 7.
The Amazons will have Laura Delaney (Ireland), Lauren Winfield-Hill (England), Maia Bouchier (England), and Tammy Beaumont (England) under Bismah Maroof (England).
Australian Tess Flintoff. Chamari Athapaththu, Danni Wyatt, Jahanara Alam, Laura Wolvaardt, and Lea Tahuhu will play for the Super Women, headed by Nida Dar. The Pakistan Women’s League’s September “soft launch” will feature ten top international players from seven nations.

In addition to these 10 international superstars, Pakistan will field 20 outstanding players, including four Under-19 players
(Areesha Noor, Eyman Fatima, Shawaal Zulfiqar, and Syeda Aroob Shah)
who competed in the recently ended ICC Under-19 Women’s Twenty20 World Cup (Fatima Khan and Syeda Masooma Zahra). Each side has four to three international players and one emerging or Under-19 talent.
Delaney and Athapaththu, the captains of Ireland and Sri Lanka, respectively, are two of the 10 international players who recently participated in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 in South Africa. South African Laura Wolvaardt is a major player in women’s cricket. Her batting prowess has earned her a spot in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 squad.
With 1,776 ODI runs and 2,369 T20I runs, Danni Wyatt is also a household name in women’s cricket. Wyatt has played in 143 T20 Internationals, tying her for second most with New Zealand’s Suzie Bates and eight behind India’s Harmanpreet Kaur.

Athapaththu is ranked 11th among batters by the ICC, followed by Wyatt (16th), Beaumont (44th), and Delany (45th) (61st). Being the highest-ranked non-Indian bowler, Tahuhu is in eighth place, just behind Jahanara (60th).
Bismah Marioof (33rd), Nida Dar (38th), and Aliya Riaz (56th) (all hitters); Sadia Iqbal (19th), Nida Dar (21st), Nashra Sandhu (26th), Anam Amin (37th), and Tuba Hassan (39th)) (all bowlers).
Tess Flintoff and Beaumont, both of Australia, were unable to attend the competition last month. While Tess, at only 19, is on the cusp of making her international cricket debut, Beaumont, at the ripe old age of 31, is already a bona fide star, having played for England in seven Tests, 103 One-Day Internationals, and 99 Twenty Twenty Internationals while amassing 5,493 runs and 10 centuries in his cricketing career.

It’s a great chance for our players to pick up some tips from their overseas counterparts, who will be participating in the exhibition matches.

The exhibition games will be a great opportunity for up-and-coming players to show off their skills.
